Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico to a family of musicians. As a child, she was exposed to lots of classical music and traditional boleros. Also, she listened to the traditional romance ballads as well as ranchero. Ana loves the opera and tango genres as well as all forms of dramatic performance. Her mother taught her to sing, however she started intensive training in vocals through Flavio Belcerra at 16 when the singer was famous as a Mexican opera tenor. Her musical education continued through the School of Music of Guadalajara University and later at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. In Guadalajara and Mexico City, she was an active member of numerous chamber and opera choirs. In 2000 she moved back to in the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2007 she moved to her new home in Southern California. She currently performs classic Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. In addition to being an active performer as well as an instructor and instructor, her passion for music and art keeps her engaged in a wide range of projects. Ana is also an ex-member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana hopes that through her sharing songs from Latin American traditional songs, that she can instill a passion, particularly among the younger generation in keeping the music vibrant.
