Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress working in TV and film is well known for movies such as Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. She was the sole child of Romanian actors Valentin Platareu. Alexandra started her career in show business at an early age. When she reached the age of 16years old, Alexandra was able to land the leading roles in numerous shows on television. In the Oscar nominated film Downfall her character as Secretary Traudljunge, Adolf Hitler's secretary was also a critically-acclaimed one. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are two other Oscar nominees featuring models. Alexandra worked on several important international and national projects through the years. These comprise British biographical film Control as well as The Dust of Time as well as French historical miniseries Napoleon. In addition, she was a member of both jury for the Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
